Blogs: No Follow or Do Follow?

By Janet Lewison

Right now, if you're reading this, you probably have fantastic idea for a blog and not too much else. Am I right? You don't know how to start or even where to starting looking and that's okay. Every single person who has a blog online right now has, at some point, been in your shoes. What a lot of budding bloggers end up doing is starting with a free blog, a free domain name and free hosting. Sounds great, right? I'm going to suggest you not do this.

Here are some things you will definitely want to find at a top notch blog site: Definitions - In the finance game there are a lot of different words and phrases you will want to fully understand. For instance, knowing the difference between a hard money loan and a bridge loan will be significant.

Techniques - Top private capital lending blogs will have techniques as well as loan tips and trick on how to best pitch your loan to lenders. This information will help you to say the right things and how to position your loan in the lender's mind for success.

Paperwork - You will be able to find the info you need so you have all your paperwork together. This will include paperwork on your collateral as well as the papers the lenders will need. Your collateral will be something like an existing property that doesn't have a lien or a committed contract to ensure they're covered.

They are going to make money from your efforts. It could be something as simple as by showing ads to your visitors. It could be they offer you a basic blog for free but for advanced or custom options they charge you. It could be they simply want all that data and web traffic. Think about it.

After Getting The Loan - Once you get your loan, there will be information about what you can expect and what you will need to do to have a successful completion of the loan process.

Your goal should be to follow a few different leaders within your niche. You should then, on a daily basis, leave comments on their blogs. This will start to get you noticed as someone who has an understanding of the subject you are commenting on. As a rule of thumb, it is a good idea to leave a good comment so that it appears you know what you are talking about. People will take notice and then start to visit your blog or sites. Bingo, and that is traffic....
